The ability to use MLA format was sharpened and enforced with each paper and assignment. As we completed each draft of our papers MLA format was a major focus especially when providing in-text quotations after each of the quotes used. Ensuring this is done properly allows readers to be able to easily see which source you are referencing throughout the paper. This also keeps the author safe from unintended plagiarism of other works. After reviewing the basics at the beginning of the semester I was able to continue to use the MLA format throughout the course with minimal issues. Having the ability to use certain formats when necessary is extremely helpful and I feel as though I am well informed to complete assignments effectively.
